1. All goods remain the property of Victoria House Fireplaces Ltd. Until paid for in full and all cheques cleared.
2. All deposits paid are non-refundable and constitute a binding contract.
3. Supply only items are sold on the understanding that Victoria House Fireplaces Ltd is not liable for any third-party costs, for any reason what so ever. It is the customers responsibility to make sure that the goods purchased are correct for both the purpose for which they are purchased and suitable for the intended location or installation.
4. Orders for marble and stone are accepted only on the understanding that being a natural product IT SUFFERS FROM SHADING AND COLOUR VARIATIONS and is inherently unsound. This may vary from slight flaws to open crevices. IT IS ORDERED WITHOUT ANY GUARANTEE and with flaws stopped and repaired as normal practice.
5. Payments by personal cheque will not be accepted for balances due unless the cheque has cleared and funds are in our account and then payment must be made at least seven days prior to collection or delivery.
6. Any estimates given on price or delivery time are given as accurately as possible but are a guide only, and not a guarantee. Victoria House Fireplaces Ltd are not liable for any costs whatsoever for goods that arrive later than estimated. IT IS ADVISED THAT TRADES PEOPLE ARE NOT ENGAGED TO INSTALL PRODUCTS UNTILL THE PRODUCT IS IN YOUR POSSESSION.
7. Goods wishing to be returned are so at the discretion of Victoria House Fireplaces Ltd. And if accepted, must be in perfect condition and packed as supplied. A handling charge may be levied and a credit note may be issued for the balance.
8. Deliveries are made to suit the customer’s convenience but this may not always be possible. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange for the goods to be accepted at the time of delivery. An additional charge will be made for redelivering goods and no responsibility will be accepted for goods arriving later than estimated.
9. Installation. We act as agents for several experienced and qualified installers and we will act on your behalf to allocate an installer that meets your requirements and then put you in contact with them. Once you accept their quotation, your installation contract will be with that installer and not Victoria House Fireplaces Ltd. Victoria House Fireplaces Ltd is not responsible in any way, what so ever, for any Installation related issues. We will act as an intermediatory to assist in reaching an agreement if such matters arise.
